ANIMAL WELFARE
On arrival the animals enter the stockyard and are either penned undercover with ample of fresh water and feed or allowed to roam the lush green pastures surrounding the abattoir. Thus the animal enjoys sufficient time to recover from transportation. The more the animal is relaxed before processing the better the eating quality.
We are one of a small group of boutique domestic plants still established in NSW that is Australian owned and employ over 40 staff from the local community. We are members of the Australian Meat Industry Council.The Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC) is the only industry association representing the post-farmgate Australian meat industry.
